Foreign Minister Conveys Message from President of Republic to Sultan of Oman

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad has conveyed a written message from the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, to His Majesty Sultan Haitham ben Tarek al-Saïd, Sultan of Oman.

The message was delivered on Monday in Muscat during the audience granted to the minister by His Highness Vehd Ben Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs, in the presence of Mr. Bedr Ben Hamed Al Boussidi, Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs, and HE Mr. Mohamed Vall Ahmed Bah, Ambassador of Mauritania to the Sultanate of Oman.

The meeting was also an opportunity to review the close relations of fraternity and cooperation between the two countries and the means likely to strengthen them, in accordance with the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.

The Minister also discussed, during a meeting with Mr. Bedr Ben Hamed Al Boussidi, Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs, the best means to strengthen bilateral and partnership relations as well as the prospects for investment in many areas.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Mauritania to the Sultanate of Oman, HE Mr. Mohamed Vall Ahmed Bah.
