Nouadhibou

On Tuesday 19 December in Nouadhibou, the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal, supervised, within the framework of the visit carried out on behalf of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Sheikh Al-Ghazouani, to the city of Nouadhibou, the inauguration of three facilities for the benefit of the fishing sector and the marine economy.

These facilities, which fall at the heart of the priorities of His Excellency the President of the Republic’s “My Pledges” program, which the government is working on implementing, include the headquarters and laboratories of the National Office for Health Inspection of Fishing and Fish Farming Products, the “Atlantic Naval Shipbuilding” Company, and the Saumasser Afrigo Company for processing, freezing and storing fish.

The Prime Minister and the delegation accompanying him toured the various wings of these facilities, and listened to explanations from those in charge of them about the nature of the work and the services they provide, as well as the job opportunities they provide for young people, before unveiling these facilities to mark the start of their exploitation.
