Prime Minister Lays the Foundation Stone for the Completion of 35 km of Paved Roads in Nouadhibou

On Tuesday 19 December, the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Masoud, supervised, at the entrance to the city of Nouadhibou, in the name of His Excellency the President of the Republic, the laying of the foundation stone for the completion of an urban road network within the city of Nouadhibou.

The length of the urban network is more than 35 kilometers of paved roads, funded by the Free Zone Authority’s own resources in the amount of 3.69 billion old ouguiya, and the duration of the works is estimated at 18 months.

After laying the foundation stone, the Prime Minister followed up with a presentation on the technical procedures that will be adopted in building this road, and the extent of its contribution to strengthening the road network and breaking the isolation of the city’s neighborhoods.
