President of Nouakchott Region Chairs International Jury in Cameroon

On Tuesday 12 December, in the Cameroonian capital, Yaounde, the President of the Nouakchott Region and President of United Cities and Local Governments of Africa, Ms. Fatima Abdelmalek chaired, , the international jury for the fifth edition of the Special Fund for Equipment and Intervention in Local Communities (FEICOM) Award for the best local development projects in Cameroon.

In her opening speech, the President thanked the cameroon authorities for the honor of chairing the international jury of this award, which she considered a successful African model, for the generous support provided to cameroon local communities, which made it the trust and interest of international development partners, led by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), and the United Cities and Local Governments in Africa.
