President of Republic Affirms Mauritania’s Keenness to Strengthen Cooperation Relations with the Republic of Yemen

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, affirmed Mauritania’s keenness to continue efforts to strengthen cooperation relations with the sister Republic of Yemen.

This came in a telegram sent by His Excellency today, Wednesday, to His Excellency Mr. Rashad Mohamed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, on the occasion of his country’s celebration of the 56th anniversary of the Glorious Evacuation Day.

This is the text of the telegram:

“Your Excellency and dear brother,

On the occasion of your country’s celebration of the 56th anniversary of the Glorious Evacuation Day, I am pleased to express to Your Excellency my warmest congratulations, wishing the brotherly Yemeni people to overcome, thanks to their usual wisdom, the temporary crisis they are going through, and to enjoy further progress and prosperity.

I also renew to you our keenness to continue efforts to strengthen and develop the existing cooperation relations between our two countries to serve the interests of our two brotherly peoples.
