Minister of Petroleum: we have Succeeded in Developing an Integrated Strategic Vision that will make Mauritania an Integrated Future pole for Renewable Energies

The Minister of Petroleum, Mines and Energy, Government Spokesman, Mr. Nani Ould Achrouga, said that the parameters of policies based on low-carbon energy provide our country with unprecedented development opportunities to increase the pace of growth, create a real industrial fabric and create many jobs.

He added in a speech delivered at the opening of the third edition of the Oil, Gas and Energy Conference and Exhibition for the countries bordering the coastal basin, today at the Palais des Congrès (Mourabitoun), that the energy sector in Mauritania has succeeded in developing an integrated strategic vision that aims, in the first place, to make Mauritania an integrated future pole for renewable energies, gas production, export and consumption locally, and the production of green metals.
