President of Republic Receives Presidents of Regional Councils

On 7 November, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received the presidents of the regional councils.

The meeting takes place to translate into reality the particular attention that His Excellency pays to these bodies and the missions assigned to them in the context of improving and facilitating public service and bringing it closer to citizens. Added to this is the promotion of local development and the strengthening of decentralization.
