Mauritanian Ambassador to Senegal Presents Credentials

On 19 October, in Dakar, HE Mr. Mohamed Ahmedou Ould Ahmedou, presented his credentials to the Senegalese President, His Excellency Macky Sall, as extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Republic of Senegal.

During the credentials presentation ceremony, Mr. Ould Ahmedou conveyed to the Senegalese President the greetings of His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, and his desire to develop bilateral relations, following the aspirations and common interests of the two people.

For his part, President Macky Sall instructed the Ambassador to convey his greetings to his brother and friend, H.E. President of the Republic, and highlighted the depth of the brotherly ties between Mauritania and Senegal. He also reiterated his country’s desire to work with Mauritania to achieve their legitimate aspirations for growth and prosperity.
