On 20 October, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, arrived in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, to take part in the work of the Cairo summit on peace, dedicated to the discussion on de-escalation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The President of the Republic is accompanied by a large delegation including Messrs.:
-Moctar Ould Diay, the Minister in charge of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic;
-El Hassen Ould Deih, the Mauritanian Ambassador to Cairo;
-Ahmed Ould Bahini, an officer in charge of special duties at the Presidency of the Republic; -Salah Ould Dehmache, an officer in charge of special duties at the Presidency of the Republic;
-El Hassen Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol.
In addition to His Excellency, the President of the Republic, many heads of state, organizations, and international bodies will participate in this summit, the work of which will begin tomorrow, 21 October, in Cairo.
