Mauritania participates in International Investment Forum in Abu Dhabi

The Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Ememma Beibat Hamahoullah, chaired on Monday in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, a high-level meeting organized in cooperation between the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development trade(UNCTAD), on the sidelines of the International Investment Forum currently underway in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, they reviewed the most effective ways to invest in the development of agri-food systems.

The Minister pointed out that the consecutive crises that the world has witnessed, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, climate change and the war in Ukraine, call for developing new approaches with more cooperation and integration in investment to achieve sustainable development goals in the  food security field.
