Nouakchott to Host Nouakchott International Film Festival

The committee supervising the Nouakchott International Film Festival announced the participation of 28 films representing 13 countries in the first edition of the festival scheduled for next week, under the auspices of the Nouakchott region, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Youth, Sports and Relations with Parliament.

The Festival President Mohamed Moustapha Ould El Bane said that this edition of the festival will be attended by 21 guests, from Oman, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Senegal.

“Several competitions will be held on the sidelines of the festival, including feature films, short narrative films, workshop films, Sina Mobile films and the content creator’s competition.
