On 27 September, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad offered Mauritania’s sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and the brotherly Iraqi people over the fire that broke out in a party hall in Nineveh.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad learned with deep sadness the news of the fire which broke out in a party hall in the district of Nineveh, in northern Iraq, during which dozens of Iraqi citizens lost their lives.
On this painful occasion, the Mauritanian government offers its sincere condolences and deep sympathy to the brotherly Iraqi government and people and the families of the victims, imploring Allah the Almighty to have Mercy on the martyrs and grant the injured a speedy recovery.”
