Minister of National Defense Returns From China

On 2 September, the Minister of National Defense, Mr. Hanena Ould Sidi, returned to Nouakchott from the People’s Republic of China after having participated in the work of the third China-Africa Peace and Security Forum, held between 28 August and 2 September 2023 in the Chinese capital, Beijing.

During his participation in this third edition of this forum, Mr. Ould Sidi had talks with his Chinese counterpart, General Li Shangfu, which made it possible to discuss military cooperation relations between the two countries and the mechanisms to develop them.
