Minister of Culture Receives Russian Ambassador

On 30 August, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Sid’Ahmed Die, the Minister of Culture, Youth, Sports, and Relations with Parliament, received His Excellency Mr. Boris Zhilko, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Mauritania.

The meeting dealt with the readiness to sign the cooperation agreement in the cultural field between the two countries after the completion of the technical aspects. It also discussed various aspects of cooperation between the two sides.

Mr. Ahmed Die expressed his willingness to promote cooperation in the areas of competence of the Department.

For his part, Mr. Zhilko thanked His Excellency the Minister for his valuable cooperation, handing him an invitation from his Russian counterpart to participate in the ninth Forum of Culture Ministers.
