President of Republic Congratulates Swiss Counterpart

On 31 July, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, sent the following message of congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Alain Berset, the President of the Swiss Confederation on the occasion of his country’s National Day:

“The celebration of your country’s National Day gives me the pleasant opportunity to send you my warmest congratulations and my best wishes for health and happiness for yourselves, progress and prosperity for the friendly Swiss people.

I take this opportunity to assure you of our firm will to work to develop the relations of cooperation between our two countries and strengthen the ties of friendship which unite our two friendly peoples.
