President of Republic Leaves for Rome

On 23 July, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, left Nouakchott for Rome, capital of Italy, to participate in the International Conference on Migration and Development.

On his departure from the international Airport of Nouakchott, Oum-Tounsi, the President of the Republic was greeted by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messaoud, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister Counselor at the Presidency of the Republic, several members of the government, the Chief of the Special Staff of the President of the Republic, the Deputy Director of the Office of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Nouakchott West and the President of the Nouakchott region.

During this trip, His Excellency the President of the Republic is accompanied by a large delegation including:

– Moctar Ould Djaye, the Minister-Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic;

– Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad;

– Momma Hamahoullah Beibatt, the Minister of Agriculture;

– Zeinebou Mint Ely Salem, the Ambassador of Mauritania in Rome;

– Lieutenant General Mesgharou Ould Leghoueizi, the Director General of National Security;

– Sidi Ould Domane, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic;

– Harouna Traore, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic;

– El Hacen Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol.
