On 4 July, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, reiterated his desire to strengthen and develop the cooperation relations between Mauritania and Venezuela. 

This is what emerges from a message sent by His Excellency to Mr. Nicolas Maduro Moros, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on the occasion of the celebration of his country’s National Day. 

The message reads as follows: 

“Excellency,

 On the occasion of the celebration of the National Day of the Republic of Venezuela, I am pleased to express to Your Excellency my warm congratulations and my wishes for further progress and prosperity for the friendly Venezuelan people. 

I would like to reaffirm our will to continue to work to strengthen the relations of cooperation between our two countries in the mutual interest of our two friendly people. 

Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.
