President of Republic Expresses Determination To Strengthen Cooperation With Algeria

On 4 July, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, renewed his determination to strengthen cooperation relations between Mauritania and Algeria.

This is what emerges from a message sent by His Excellency to Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.

The message reads as follows:

“Excellency and Dear Brother,

On the occasion of the celebration of the National Day of your country, I am pleased to express to your Excellency my warm congratulations, wishing the brotherly Algerian people more progress and prosperity.

I also renew our desire to work with Your Excellency to strengthen and develop cooperative relations between our two countries in the mutual interest of our two brotherly people.

Please accept, Excellency and Dear Brother, the assurances of my highest consideration. Your brother Mohamed Ould Chekh El Ghazouani”.
