Presidential Decree Closes Extraordinary National Assembly Session

The Presidency of the Republic announced on Wednesday a presidential decree closing the extraordinary session of the National Assembly on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.

Here is the full text of the decree:

“The President of the Republic, having examined:

The Constitution of July 20, 1991, revised in 2006, 2012 and 2017;

Decree No. 92 bis of June 9, 2023 convening an extraordinary session of the National Assembly;

Decrees:

Article one: The extraordinary session of the National Assembly will be closed on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.

Article two: This decree is published urgently and in the Official Journal of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
