The President of the Republic was greeted upon his departure from Cordoba by the King of Spain, Philip VI, and H.E Mr. Kane Boubacar, our Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain.

His Excellency arrived in the city of Cordoba yesterday, where he attended a dinner hosted by the Spanish monarch in honor of the leaders participating in the El Aqaba process conference, the current edition of which was devoted to discussing the security and defense issues in the West African and Sahel regions.

The conference, the work of which was closed today, brought together Their Majesties the King of Spain, Philip VI, the King of Jordan, Abdallah II, the President of Ghana, Mr. Nana Akufo-Addo, the President of Guinea-Bissau, Mr. Umaro Sissoco Embalo, and Moussa Faki Mahamat, the Chairperson of the African Union Commission.
