Human Rights Commissioner Holds Talks with OHCHR Representative

The Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and relations with Civil Society, Mr. Mohamed El Hacen Ould Boukhreiss, held talks , Monday, in Nouakchott, with the representative of the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Mauritania, Mr. Laurent Meillane.

During the discussions, both parties reviewed the different aspects of cooperation between our country and this UN institution and the means to further develop them, particularly in the field of the commission’s intervention.

The meeting took place in the presence of the manager of Human Rights, Mr. Sidi Mohamed Ould Cheikhna.
