The President of the Republic Visited Areas Affected by Rain Floods in Hodh Charghi.

The President of the Republic, his Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, visited, on Thursday 10 september , the most affected areas by floods in Hodh Charghi.
His Excellency spotted in person the situation of the inhabitants affected by the latest floods in Basiknou and Adel Bagrou.
The President paid a visit to the hospital of Basiknou and Adel Bagrou, touring the different departments to evaluate the health situation of the patients. His Excellency ordered that the citizens should benefit of high-level care.

His Excellency launched different measures aiming at improving the life of citizens in the city of Adel Bagrou; Such instructions include the evacuations of waters and the disinfection of areas.

The President said, in a speech before the population , that the visit enabled him to consider that the difficulties of the city are essentially due to isolation.

In this context, he stated that works on Amourj-Adel Bagrou road will start as soon as possible, and that instructions will be given to the ministry concerned to grant pieces of land to the affected families in areas suitable for housing.

The President of the Republic said that he noticed that the state of the city’s health services need improvements; in this regard the construction of a health center is to start soon to improve the situation.
