President of CNDH Meets With US Undersecretary for Human Rights

On 4 May, in Washington, Mr. Ahmed Salem Ould Bouhoubeini, the President of the National Commission for Human Rights (CNDH),  met with Ms. Uzra Zeya, the US Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights.

During the meeting, the CNDH President asked the American authorities to contribute to the efforts undertaken by his organization within the framework of the promotion of human rights in Mauritania.

He affirmed that our country counts on the support of the United States to overcome the challenges that still hinder the respect of human rights.
