On 5 May, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, left Nouakchott for Great Britain, where he will attend the coronation ceremony of King Charles III.
The President of the Republic was greeted upon his departure from the International Airport of Nouakchott (Oum Tounsy) by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Bilal Messoud, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister Counselor at the Presidency of the Republic, members of the government, the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Western Nouakchott, and the President of the Nouakchott region.
The President of the Republic is accompanied by a large delegation comprising: Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic, HE Mr. Sidya El Hadj, the Ambassador of Mauritania to Great Britain, and Mr. El Hassen Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol.
