Mauritania Participates in Transform Africa Summit

On 26 April, Mr. Moctar Ould Ahmed El Yedaly, the Minister of Digital Transformation, Innovation, and Modernization of Administration, participated, as a representative of our country, in the opening of the Sixth Transform Africa Summit, held in Zimbabwe from 26 to 28 April 2023.

The Minister’s agenda at this summit provides for his participation in many events of great importance related to digital transformation in Africa.

The summit is held under the theme: “Connection, Innovation, and Transformation” and aims to enable member states to become more competitive, flexible, open, and innovative smart economies.

It is noteworthy that the Transform Africa Summit is the most important annual African forum that brings together global and regional leaders from governments, businesses, and international organizations, to establish cooperation to find effective means likely to accelerate and support the digital revolution underway in Africa.
