Human Rights Commissioner Receives UN Delegation

On 15 December, in Nouakchott, Mr. Cheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Sidi, the Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society, received a delegation from the UN chaired by Mr. Simon-Pierre NANITELAMIO, the Deputy Director of the UN Electoral Assistance Division.
The two parties discussed cooperation between Mauritania and the UN System, particularly support for the elections and the participation of women in political life.
