Yesterday, Monday, in the Ghanaian capital, Accra, the work of the meeting devoted to presenting the World Bank?s strategy in the field of education at the level of Central and West African countries began with the participation of the Minister of National Education and Reform of the Education System, Government Spokesperson, Mr. Mohamed Malainine Ould Eyih.
Through this meeting, in which representatives from various African countries and organizations working in the field of education will participate, the World Bank aims to emphasize the need to increase and improve investments in education systems, as well as to strengthen the link between spending, learning and other outcomes of human capital.
It also seeks to formulate effective strategies to improve the quality of education, particularly in areas that have witnessed a decline in this field as a result of the repercussions of civil wars and the exceptional circumstances imposed by the Corona pandemic, and a number of development problems that have known various countries of the African continent.
