Foreign Affairs Minister Meets With Algerian Counterpart

On the sidelines of the two extraordinary African Union summits currently being held in Equatorial Guinea, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad met, on 28 May in Malabo, Mr. Ramtane Lamamra, the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad.

The meeting was an opportunity for the two parties to discuss the cooperative relations between the two brotherly countries and discuss ways and means likely to further strengthen them in accordance with the expectations of the two brotherly people.

The talks also touched on regional and international issues of common interest.
