Journalism: Agreement for Exchange of Expertise, Continuous Training Between Mauritanian, Moroccan Unions

The Union of Mauritanian Journalists (SJM) and the National Syndicate of the Moroccan Press (SNPM) have agreed to strengthen their cooperation in the field of the exchange of experiences, expertise, and continuous training of journalists, to raise the level of media production in the two brotherly countries.

The agreement was signed by the SJM President, Mr. Ahmed Taleb Ould Maloum, during the visit he is currently paying to the Kingdom of Morocco, and the SNPM President, Mr. Abdellah El Bakkali.

The two parties have also decided to offer journalists from the two countries the opportunity to benefit from training courses organized by one of the two unions in various media fields, as well as to work subsequently to set up a program of periodic meetings between the two union institutions.
