Interior Minister Discusses with UNHCR Representative Ways To Strengthen Cooperation

On 8 March, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Interior and Decentralization, held talks in Nouakchott with HE Mrs. Caroline Elizabeth Ester, the representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to Mauritania.

The talks addressed ways to strengthen cooperation between our country and this UN body. The two parties also discussed the most important issues concerning refugees and ways to strengthen support in all areas related to refugee affairs in our country.
