Prime Minister Renews Government Commitment To Fight Corruption

Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messoud, renewed, on Wednesday, the government’s determination to fight the phenomenon of corruption, in application of the commitments of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani.

The Prime Minister made the statement in a tweet on the International Anti-Corruption Day.

‘On the occasion of the anniversary of the International Anti-Corruption Day, December 9, we renew our entire determination, in application of the commitments of His Excellency the President of the Republic, to fight this phenomenon in all its manifestations and at all levels, to activate and strengthen all control and inspection mechanisms, and to apply the laws and related sanctions within the framework of the sovereignty of the law’.
