Mauritania Signs Health Cooperation Agreement with Cuba

The Minister of Health, Mr. Sidi Ould Zahaf, arrived Monday in Nouakchott from the Cuban capital, Havana, after accepting an invitation from his Cuban counterpart, Mr. José Angel Portal Miranda, to visit this friendly country.

During this visit, the two ministers signed an agreement to strengthen health cooperation between the two countries. Under this agreement, the Cuban side will send health workers, including technicians and doctors from various specializations, to work in national health institutions.
