Taazour Delegate Receives UNICEF Manager in West Africa

The General Delegate of National Solidarity and Fight against Exclusion (Taazour), M. Mohamed Mahmoud Bouassriya, received Thursday in Nouakchott the Manager of UN regional Children’s Funds ( UNICEF) in the west and central Africa, Mme Marie-Pierre Poiret.

The meeting focused on the opportunities offered to strengthen cooperation between Mauritania and this international organization, particularly in the fields of the general delegation’s competence.

The meeting between the General Delegate and the UN official discussed the interest that UN Children’s Funds attach to the program of His Excellency President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, regarding the realization of integrated development for the vulnerable and poor populations.

The meeting took place in the presence of the representative of UNICEF in Mauritania, Mr. Marc Lucette.
