On 23 April in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamedou Ahmedou M’haimid, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, met with H.E. Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Hamid Taya, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Mauritania.
The meeting focused on ways to deepen collaboration in the agricultural sector, enabling Mauritania to benefit from Egypt’s pioneering expertise, particularly in agricultural research, production development, and the advancement of farming practices.
Both officials expressed their commitment to expanding cooperation across additional areas, including increased high-level visits and exchanges, in alignment with the strategic directives of their respective national leaders.
