The President of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers, Mr. Mohamed Zeine El Abidine Ould Cheikh Ahmed, received a delegation from the Saudi Shura Council, headed by Mr. Fahd bin Sulaiman Al-Takhefi, President of the Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Council, who is currently visiting our country, at his office on Monday.
In a speech on the occasion, the president of the union emphasised that the Saudi delegation’s visit is more than just a working visit, as it embodies the depth of the historical and fraternal relations that bind the two countries and their brotherly peoples, based on shared beliefs and values and a constant aspiration towards broader horizons of joint cooperation.
He explained that entrepreneurs and employers in Mauritania, which is currently experiencing a development renaissance in all areas thanks to the wisdom and vision of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, are following with great interest the development process that the Kingdom is undergoing under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and his Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The head of the Saudi delegation emphasised that this visit was in line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani.
In this context, he reviewed the importance of the business sector and Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2020 and 2030, as well as the pivotal role of the private sector, noting the launch of a new strategy to activate the role of the private sector, as well as investment, communication and governance.
