The Minister of Digital Transformation heads to Cairo to participate in the ‘Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Week’

The Minister of Digital Transformation and Administrative Modernization, Mr. Ahmed Salem Ould Bede, departed last night from Nouakchott heading to Cairo to participate in the ‘Most Empowering Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Week in the Middle East and Africa (AI Everything Egypt 2026),’ which will be held starting Wednesday, February 11, 2026, in the Egyptian capital.
This participation, following an invitation from the Minister of Communications and Information Technology of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Amr Samih Talaat, represents an important opportunity for Mauritania to present its vision on artificial intelligence and to exchange experiences with regional and international technology leaders, supporting the building of strategic partnerships in sustainable digital development.
