Minister of Health Receives Palestinian Ambassador

Health Minister Sidi Ould Zahaf held talks, on Thursday in Nouakchott, with HE Mr. Ghassem Assad Al Assad, Palestinian Ambassador to Mauritania.

Discussions focused on cooperative relations between Mauritania and the sisterly state of Palestine, particularly in the area of health and human resources training.

During the meeting, Mr. Ghassem Assad Al Assad praised the efforts made by Mauritania, as part of the vaccination campaign against COVID-19. According to him, 80% of the Palestinian diaspora in Mauritania has already been vaccinated.
