President of Republic Returns to Nouakchott From Nouadhibou

On 30 December, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, returned to Nouakchott from the city of Nouadhibou, after inaugurating and launching vital development projects as part of the 65th anniversary of National Independence Day.

The President of the Republic was welcomed at Nouakchott Oumtounsy International Airport by the Prime Minister, the Minister Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister Counselors at the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, the Minister of Defense, Retirees and Children of Martyrs’ Affairs, the Minister of Interior, Decentralization, and Local Development, the Chief of Special Staff of the President of the Republic, the Deputy Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Nouakchott West, and the President of the Nouakchott Region.

The President of the Republic was accompanied by a large delegation, including:

– Mr. Nani Ould Chrougha, Minister in charge of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic;

– Mr. Mokhtar Ould Bousseif, Minister of Fisheries, Maritime and Port Infrastructure;

– Ms. Mariem Boydiel, Minister of Civil Service and Labor;

– Mr. El Houssein Ould Meddou, Minister of Culture, Arts, Communication, and Relations with Parliament, Government Spokesperson;

– Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Lematt, Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic;

– Mr. Mohamed Ould M’haïmid, Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic;

– Mr. El Hassen Ould Ahmed, Director General of State Protocol.
