Minister of Agriculture Meets With Head of EU Delegation
The strengthening of the various aspects of the cooperation existing between our country and the European Union were at the center of the talks held on Friday in Nouakchott by the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Sidina Ould Sidi Mohamed Ould Ahmed Ely and HE Mr. Giacomo Durazzo, Ambassador, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Mauritania.
The two parties reviewed the state of execution of development projects financed by the European Union in collaboration with our country in the field of agriculture.
On this occasion, the Minister of Agriculture insisted on the need to accelerate the realization of these projects.
For his part, Mr. Giacomo Durazzo affirmed the readiness of the European Union to make the necessary efforts to strengthen the partnership between the two parties.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Abdallahi Baba Zeyad, director of strategies, cooperation, monitoring, and evaluation at the Ministry of Agriculture.
