Minister of National Defense Decorates G5 Sahel Joint Force Commander

The Minister of National Defense, Mr. Hanena Ould Sidi, decorated, Friday in Nouakchott on behalf of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, Commander of the joint force of the G5 Sahel, General Oumarou Namata, with the rank of “Commander” of the National Order of Merit, on the occasion of the end of his mission.

The ceremony, organized on this occasion was attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defense, Mr. Cheikh Diallo, and the Deputy Commander of the G5 Sahel Joint Force, Major General Mohamed Ould Ahmed Ould Ely Ould N’Deilla, and a number of central officials of the Ministry of National Defense and the G5 Sahel Joint Force Directorate.
