President of Republic Meets With Congolese Counterpart

On 3 September, in Beijing, China, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and Chairman of the African Union, held talks with HE Mr. Denis Sassou Nguesso, the President of the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville).

The talks focused on relations between our country and the Republic of Congo and some African and international issues.

The meeting comes one day before the start of the 9th Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC 2024), which will be held in Beijing in the presence of a large number of African leaders under the theme: “Joining Hands to Advance Modernization and Build a High-Level China-Africa Community with a Shared Future”.
