Minister Delegate for Budget Receives Delegation From TAQA Arabia-GoGas Consortium

On 3 September, in Nouakchott, Mr. Codioro Moussa N’Guenore, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the Budget, Acting Minister of Economy and Finance, received a delegation from the TAQA Arabia- GoGas consortium, led by Mr. Khaled Aboubakr, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the consortium.

The talks focused on the areas and prospects of cooperation between Mauritania and this consortium and the means to diversify them in the service of the country’s economic development, particularly in the energy field.

It is noteworthy that the contract was signed last April in Nouakchott with Mr. Khaled Abou Bakr, the representative of the Taqa Arabia-GoGas consortium, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the GoGas company (Khaled was also present at today’s meeting).

This exploration-production contract covers the exploitation of gas reserves in the “Banda & Tevet” fields.
