Prime Minister Meets with Majority Parties

Prime Minister Mohamed Ould Bilal held a meeting with the majority parties on Monday in Nouakchott.

The meeting was an opportunity to exchange views on the means to strengthen the mechanisms of coordination and consultation between the government and these parties on important national issues and the need to act jointly for the achievement of the objectives outlined by the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani in his electoral program, in response to citizens’ aspirations for a life of dignity, to the anchoring of good governance, and to appeasement of the political climate in the country, as well as to the consolidation of national cohesion.

Such meetings are expected to continue to increase contacts and exchange points of view.
