Organization of Symposium on Judicial independence

The National school for administration, Journalism, and Judiciary organized Saturday a symposium entitled: ‘’ Judicial independence’’ in collaboration with club of Mauritanian judges.

The meeting aims to examine the problems associated with the independence of the judiciary, exchange experiences between the different interventionists, and discuss the future of justice system.

The secretary general of the ministry of justice, Mr. Mohamed Ould Ahmed Aïda, stressed that the establishment of a justice system that carries out its mission efficiently ensures the anchoring of the rule of law, democracy, and improvement of business and investment climate.

He added that the ministry is currently working, as part of its policies and programs, on justice reform to ensure its independence.
