Minister of Economy Awards the Abdul Latif Youssef Al-Hamad to Winning Project

On 22 May, in Cairo, Mr. Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, supervised the presentation of the Abdul Latif Youssef Al-Hamad awards of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD), organized on the sidelines of the Fund governors annual meeting in Cairo.

This year’s award, which was presented by the Minister of Economy, was won by a desalination project in Egypt financed by the Kuwaiti Development Fund.

This prize is generally awarded to the best Arab economic project having positive effects on the economy of the Arab country in which the project is carried out.
