Significant Temperature Rise over Almost the Entire Territory

The National Meteorological Authority expects that the general weather will be affected on Thursday, by the extension of the thermal depression over the southern regions, which will lead to a rise in temperatures over most of the national territory.

The winds will be moderate from the North-East to East sector over the center, the southern strip and the East of the country, while on the coastal regions and the North of the country, the winds will be from the North to North-West sector with a good penetration of humid maritime air during the afternoon.

The visibility will be affected by the dust action in Enchiri and in Nouadhibou and Trarza , as well as the Nouakchott region and the eastern basin.

Climate condition of Nouakchott: It will be characterized by moderate winds blowing from north to northwest, with good moisture infiltration of marine air during the evening, while visibility will be affected by dust.

The sea will remain slightly turbulent with a sea wave coming from the northwestern sector, and the wave height will range from 1.25 to 2.5 meters.
