Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives French Ambassador

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, received, Tuesday in Nouakchott, HE Mr. Robert Moullie, Ambassador of France in Mauritania.

The meeting was an opportunity to review the strong cooperative relations existing between the two countries and issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended on the Mauritanian side by Mr. Ahmed Mahmouden, Ambassador, Director of European Affairs at the Directorate-General for Bilateral Cooperation, and Ms. Maya Camara, Head of Division at the same Directorate.
On the French side, it was attended by Mr. Benoit Compaoré, First Counselor at the French Embassy in Mauritania.
