Ministry of Health Commemorates World Tuberculosis Day

The Ministry of Health commemorated Wednesday the World Tuberculosis Day, under the slogan: “the clock is ticking to end tuberculosis“.

By commemorating this day, the ministry seeks to raise awareness on the seriousness of this disease to eradicate it. The ministry hopes that the recovery rate will reach 95%, as it considered as the minimum to prevent the spread of the disease and the emergence of multidrug resistance to end the tuberculosis by 2030.
