Mauritania Participates in Arab Maghreb Union Meeting on Non-conventional water

The Secretary General of the ministry of rural development, Mme Zeineb Ahmednah, participated, via videoconference, in a virtual meeting of the Arab Maghreb Union on initiative of launching a political dialogue about the possibilities of using non-conventional water in the field of sustainable agricultural development.

During the meeting, which was hosted by the general secretariat of the Arab Maghreb Union in Casablanca, the group approved of proposals related to creating a permanent technical committee specialized in the field of non-conditional water, a Maghrebi center of excellence for non-conventional water, and a Maghrebi cooperative platform.
