Mauritania and Saudi Fund for Development Sign Loan Agreement

On Monday 19 December in Nouakchott, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mr. Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, signed with the CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, Mr. Sultan bin Abdul Rahman Al-Murshid Ali, a loan agreement dedicated to financing the project of establishing and equipping specialized institutes in vital fields.
The loan amount is 150,000,000 Saudi riyals, equivalent to about 1,580,000,000 (one billion five hundred and eighty million Ouguiyas), allocated to support the national system of higher education through the establishment and equipping of two specialized institutes inside the country.
